Hospital Quality is a new metric from this past year and is conducted by U.S News Best Hospitals. This metric measure's success in the performance and treatment of several different procedures and conditions. Tennessee currently ranks 27th.

This metric measures the percentage of nursing home residents in 4-star or better nursing homes in 2017. Data were compiled by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services on all Medicare- and Medicaid-certified nursing homes in the nation with stars. TN ranked 32nd in 2018 and 41st in 2019.
